“The Charlotte Bjorlin Delia Jewelry Collections embody her design philosophy – American sportswear meets European couture – with a rock n’ roll twist. Fine jeweler Charlotte Bjorlin Delia brings an independent sensibility to her creations. Born and raised in Sweden, she studied in France and traveled throughout the world. Still in her twenties and living in Monte Carlo, Charlotte formed Casanova Bjorlin, a luxury lifestyle consultancy that translated corporate brands into distinctive retail spaces and of-the-moment product extensions for clients such as Ferragamo, Loews and Gul Bla.
The passion for jewelry was born when a Kuwaiti oil baron’s daughter commissioned a bottle green, crocodile-covered desk with sterling handles in the shape of her family crest – paid for with a pair of 18th century French diamond earrings. Collecting antique jewelry and combining it with contemporary designs, Charlotte began to craft bespoke fine jewelry to suit her unique “denim and diamonds” style.
“I prefer easy glamour. One day I’ll wear a black satin pencil skirt, cotton tee and flats to work, with my Simple Star pink sapphire studs, the next a 70’s jersey jumpsuit with 4 inch Louboutins and an armful of cuffs and bangles.”
