In the heart of the Emilia-Romagna coast in Rimini’s historical centre, the duoMo hotel addresses the needs of a young, dynamic clientele with its unconventional and exciting design. The entrance to the hotel is through giant pin-ball-flipper-like doors. Designer’s Ron Arad Associates have integrated the original façade into the interior by wrapping it all in new “skin” which meanders its way into the building and forms the back wall of the bar. The bar itself is a large island construction with fjord-like recesses for dining; the material used is polished stainless steel, creating distorted reflections which highlight the activity in the bar. The 43 bedrooms and suites of the duoMo hotel are uniquely designed with individually formed bathroom “pods” forming the backdrop to the sleeping area.
The duoMo hotel provides guests with first-class business facilities in its meeting room and hi-tech business centre. A busy day then calls for a stop in the exclusive atmosphere of the private noMi club. Aperitifs plus a wide selection of cocktails and a superb Italian wine list are all part of the experience. Teaming up with some of the local clubs, the noMi club & bar with its live DJs is a hotspot for guests and locals and the Sunday party is not to be missed.
