David Morris studied at London’s Central School of Arts and Crafts and qualified himself as a goldsmith in 1959.
David Morris Jewels became internationally known a year later after his design was claimed in the 9th and 10th position of De Beers Diamonds International Awards, bestowed annually in New York to promote innovative design.
In 1996 David Morris established himself to its current headquarters, 180 New Bond Street. The David Morris headquarters was built as a townhouse of commerce by Scots architect William Flockhart in 1908. The flagship boutique has an original facade of French Dixhuitième that remains intact.
Jeremy Morris was appointed managing director and principal designer of David Morris in 2003, following the step of his father. David Morris’s flagship store on New Bond Street, in the heart of London’s Mayfair, is unique in that it still houses a workshop above the store, where Jeremy can personally oversee the production of each piece.
For more than five decades, royalty and international collectors have composed the clientele of the esteemed British luxury jewelry designer.
