Winter holidays are not just about snowing and cold outside… But of course, we can opt to snow sports.
I love snow sports and actually I would love someone to invite me to a romantic x-mas-réveillon winter break. I am just imagining myself all dressed up for new year supper but all bruised under because of the skiing!
Yesterday I kept think about lovely places to go on this season holidays, but I’m quite divided to tan or no to tan…
Snow sports holidays
The Ice Hotel in Jukkasjärvi is a lovely example of an every girls dream. It’s almost a castle built for you. Every year, in the spring, tons of ice and snow are harvested from the Tome River and stored, to built the next year hotel, and the current year Icebar designs and glasses.
Who haven’t dreamt once about Swiss Alps? Have looked up and just felt in love with the St. Moritz region and its lovely Badrutt’s Palace Hotel.
This resort town is located the highest summit in the eastern Alps and a good place to sightseeing and winter sports. Along its lake we can find one 5 stars luxury hotel, the historical and internationally known Badrutt’s Palace.
Sun, tan and relaxing holidays
Although in LA I can find mild winters I though too about tanning winter break…
Never been to Mauritius, but heard it is one of the world’s top luxury destinations because of its tropical climate and clear warm seawaters. I looked up for The St Regis Mauritius Resort located on one of the finest beaches on the island at Le Morne with a spectacular private sand and ocean view.
A little bit more close to the equator line and a island even smaller with exclusive resorts is Seychelles. I would definitely choose Maia Luxury Resort & SPA. It’s surrounded by award winning landscape grounds. Located on Mahé beach it is a lovely place to relax, tan and reading.
I have to decide what destination and resort to book. Can you help me booking my winter holidays?
