Our beloved pets are meant to a person’s company or even protection, but the emotional bond that they can provide is definitely the high point of their own existence in our lives. 5. Chinese Crested dog
The Chinese Crested may not be the most fluffy fur dog, but is one of the most expensive dogs money can buy. These animals weight barely more than 10 pounds and are know for for their soft skin and little hair around their paws and faces. Can be bought for approximately $5,000.
4. Savannah Cats
It’s the perfect combination of loyalty and intelligence. The Savannah’s ability to be trained and do tricks often reminds people of a dog. This lovely species has quite a charme and is considered to be social and loyal compared to other breeds of cats.
3. Hyacinth Macaw
The Hyacinth is not only the biggest macaw species, but it is also the world’s largest flying parrot. This parrot is native of the eastern and central regions of South America, however, because of their extreme popularity as home pets, their population in the wild has taken a heavy blow. This lovely lovely animal is on the market for about $14,000.
2. Sir Lancelot Encore
It is not a specie, it’s the name of a dog-cloning procedure. A couple from Florida, Edgar and Nina Otto, who owned the world-famous Lancelot, decided to clone their dog’s DNA, after it he died of cancer. The result was Sir Lancelot Encore which cost about $155,000.
1. Tibetan Mastiff
The Tibetan Mastiff is know to be the most costly dogs that we can have at home as a pet. The average price of this particular breed is about $582,000. In addition to being very expensive, it is also one of the largest dog breeds worldwide, has been reported to stand more than 32 inches tall, with a weight of over 150 lbs. Pure white Tibetan Mastiffs have also been reported, but they are extremely rare.
